The cupboards are well stocked with glasses and crockery, cooking utensils, dishes and saucepans should you want to cook while you are away.

-Children are well catered for with plenty of plastic plates, beakers, bowls and cutlery 

-In the kitchen you will find a starter amount of tea, coffee (pods and sachets), sugar, milk, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, clothes washing capsules and basic cupboard items such as ketchup, vinegar, salt and pepper, cooking oil, bin bags, foil, cling film, dishcloth, kitchen roll etc all provided for your stay. The nearby Coop or Tesco (in Stow on the Wold) are handy if you need any further supplies!

Honeystone Cottage is ideally situated just a short, flat walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. Leave the car behind and avoid parking charges while you enjoy the many cafés, pubs, and restaurants this charming village has to offer.

Bourton-on-the-Water is packed with family-friendly attractions, including:

• The Model Village
• The Cotswold Motoring Museum
• Birdland Park & Gardens
• The Dragonfly Maze
• Greystones Nature Reserve

Or simply relax with an afternoon tea in one of the village’s cosy coffee houses and soak up the scenic views of the River Windrush, with its famous low stone bridges and resident ducks.

While a car is helpful for exploring the wider area, public transport is available. The Pulhams 801 bus service stops nearby and offers connections to surrounding towns and villages.

During Your Stay

Guests have full access to the entire cottage, private garden and garage if needed.

We are local and on hand should you need any assistance during your stay—just give us a quick call.

As the property is in a quiet residential area, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbours, especially in regard to noise and parking.

House Information & Policies

• This is a no smoking, no vaping and no drug-use property
• Pet-free home – we do not allow pets
• Please treat the cottage with care. We work hard to maintain it to a high standard for all our guests. We understand the occasional accident (like a broken glass!) can happen—just let us know of any damage so we can repair or replace items promptly
• Early check-in/late check-out may be possible depending on availability – please enquire. A small charge of £10 per additional hour applies.
